Celebrate Women’s Day High Tea at The President Hotel in Cape Town
Monday 9 August is a special kind of public holiday in South Africa, it’s Women’s Day and this year Cape Town’s The President Hotel is inviting you to celebrate the day in style. The iconic President Hotel in the luxury suburb of Bantry Bay has a marvellous High Tea arranged for Monday 9 August 2021.
Think a warm Amarula on arrival, a high tea spread that includes sweet and savoury treats from delicate Finger Sandwiches, Milk Tart Macrons, and Malva Pudding Cakepops. Now that’s just a ‘trifle’ of what’s on offer. Bring the important women in your life for a treat — they deserve spoiling, especially in 2021.
Last year’s Women’s Day may have been a bit of a downer with lockdown protocols in place, but that’s all the more reason to get out this Women’s Day and celebrate with those you love.
The day kicks off at 11:00 with a self-defence workshop to help equip ladies to protect themselves in moments of distress. Next, it’s time for pre-drinks at 12:00, to help calm those nerves and get you in the party mood before the Women’s Day High Tea celebration officially starts at 13:00.

The cost is R350 per person and half-price for kids aged 4-12 years old. Guests are welcome to join for all the activities or just the high tea event.
