Celebrate the Rosé Side of Life at the Delheim 2019 Harvest Festival
Pink is the new black at the Delheim 2019 Harvest Festival! In celebration of the harvest of its world-renowned Pinotage Rosé, Delheim is hosting an exciting wine festival that you don’t want to miss. If you’re nuts about Rosé then make sure you book the date for a delightful family day out in the winelands.
Guests are invited to join in on the harvest festival fun at the picturesque wine estate on 26 January 2019. The ‘Pink’ theme honours the harvest of Delheim’s perfect Pinotage Rosé, a wine that was launched in 1976 as the first of its kind in SA. Tickets for the Harvest Festival are limited to 120 adults and 30 children and reservations are required for what promises to be a glorious day out in the vineyards.
Weather permitting, activities will take place along the green grassy banks of the river that flows through Delheim. Expect vineyard tours, tractor rides and live music entertainment to set the ultimate mood to unwine-d.
The day will begin outdoors amidst the vines with grape picking (and rewards for the fastest grape pickers), and some exciting stomping action, followed by a relaxed, family-friendly feast filled with farm treats and eats. Think crisp salads, dolmades, freshly baked breads, cheeses, preserves, pickles and a selection of meats and fruit. Tables will also be garnished with snacks like cheese straws, olives and grapes to nibble on throughout. Dessert promises to be a highlight featuring fynbos cupcakes and a luscious Pinotage ice cream. Delheim’s complimentary wine bar will boast a variety of wines and juice for the kids.
The Delheim 2019 Harvest Festival will take place on 26 January from 10:30 to 17:00. Tickets are available online at Quicket at R650 per adult and R150 per child. Tickets include a welcome treat on arrival and all drinks, food, activities and entertainment.
