Cape Town’s Table Bay Hotel Introduces Monday Night Whisky & Chocolate Pairings
Love whisky? The Table Bay Hotel has just made Monday nights in Cape Town much more exciting thanks to their brand new Monday whisky and chocolate pairings evenings. Forget sitting in traffic on your way home from work, why not take a detour to The Table Bay and spend the evening tasting a few divine whiskeys paired with decadent chocolates?
In their purest forms, both chocolate and whisky are made from simple ingredients that combine to produce a beautiful orchestra of flavours, making them the perfect coupling. An unique departure from traditional concepts such as whisky and cigar pairings, the Table Bay Whisky and Chocolate Pairing promises to take you on an exciting, insightful journey.
You’ll be treated to three single malts by Glen Grant, including the entry level Majors Reserve; a 10-year single malt that won an award in 2016, and a 12-year single malt. These will be paired with the premium Lindt Excellence Dark Chocolate range offering smooth texture, layers of flavour and mouthwatering flavours.
The Table Bay Hotel’s Whisky and Chocolate Pairings take place on Monday nights at the Camissa Brasserie at R175 per person. Bookings are essential and can be made by contacting 021 406 5988.
