There’s now an even easier way to fly to Paris, France straight from Cape Town, thanks to newly launched airline, Joon. The trendy airline made its very first flight to Cape Town earlier this month and promises to offer an experience for every type of traveller and budget.

Operating under Air France KLM, Joon will operate 3 flights on a weekly basis between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Cape Town. It has also been operating A Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Cairo route with a daily flight since 25 March 2018.

While primarily targeting the millennial market, Joon provides a variety of travel options to flyers of all styles. The airline is a perfect fit with the vibrant Cape Town culture, which is evident according to flight statistics showing a 33 percent increase in the 2017 French market to the city of Cape Town.

One-way flights from Paris to Cape Town start at €279 (roughly R4075.90), and include airport taxes and fees, but not any checked baggage allowance. Flyers can select from three types of seats – Business, Premium Economy, and Economy. Each seat type comes with its own tech-savvy perks, such as a large touch screen entertainment system and a private movie experience with the option of 3D and VR glasses at an additional cost on long-haul flights in Economy.

Business Class flyers will enjoy fine wining and dining by well-known French chefs, with two meals on long-haul flights, as well as an almost-2-metre-long seat-bed and a 15.6 inch HD touch screen entertainment system.

This is the ideal option for frequent business travellers and younger travellers alike – we love it!
