Bubbly, Fashion and Friends at the Cape-a-Porter Pop-Up Shop!
As much as we ladies love to shop there’s no doubt that shopping in a mall can be a stressful affair. Traipsing from shop to shop, feet sore, legs tired – sometimes there’s nothing worse. But what if we told you that Cape Town now has a completely different way to shop – a way that includes bubbly and snacks? Yes, we know, you would jump with glee. Well ladies, the great news is that thanks to the lovely lasses at Cape-a-Porter you can now shop for unique, Italian fashion and accessories in a relaxing environment while sipping on a glass of bubbly and tucking into delicious snacks!
The brainchild of fashionista Sylvia Pachulski, The Cape-a-Porter pop-up shop events take place at a different, rather fabulous location each time and offer ladies and their friends a relaxed and chic environment in which to shop. The events often take place at wine estates and other unique venues in Cape Town and are a welcome breath of fresh air in the mall rat age.
We love that the Cape-a-Porter events are about so much more than just fashion – they are about the experience! Sylvia invites you to come through and enjoy a fun evening with your girlfriends – enjoy a glass of champagne while browsing through the latest trends which have all been handpicked by Sylvia!
Sylvia’s handpicked collection features everything from silk tunics and dresses to shirts, pants, boots, and handbags. All the items available at the events are affordable and top quality items from Italy so you are sure to find something to suit your budget and style.
The next Cape-a-Porter event takes place on Tuesday, 24 September from 17:00 – 20:00 at Peter Falke Wine Estate in Stellenbosch and will include a complimentary cheese, charcuterie and wine tasting! Events will also take place on Thursday 15 ( from 16:00-20:00) and Friday 16 October (from 12:00 – 20:00) at Dornier Wine Estate, Thursday, 5 November from 17:00 – 20:00 at Groot Constantia wine estate and on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 December at Fashion Hub at The Palms in Woodstock.
