Bodyroll Launches in Claremont, Cape Town, Bringing Muscle Wellness & Recovery
A new sports recovery and wellness spot has opened in Cape Town’s southern suburbs, as a Bodyroll branch has officially launched in Claremont.
The unique wellness studio in Claremont includes a number of Bodyroll machines, which are essentially large muscle massage and stimulation units (kind of like giant electric foam-rollers). These full-body recovery rollers provide a non-invasive solution to muscle recovery, lymphatic drainage, and have also been said to help improve the appearance of cellulite and promote smoother skin.
“Lymphatic massage not only results in detoxification, but also helps relieve muscle tension and is one of the best recovery tools you can use to rehabilitate sore muscles through athletic exertion,” explains Bodyroll.
The machine features deep-tissue massage rollers set between two padded platforms that roll consistently for the entire session. Each Bodyroll machine uses infrared and colour therapy alongside the rollers.
Each Bodyroll usage is designed around 45-minute sessions. During the session, adjusting the body to use the machine in different positions and angles helps provide extensive relief for your body and muscles that is almost impossible to replicate with a traditional foam roller.
Furthermore, the location also features an infrared sauna, which provides customers with the opportunity to enjoy a ‘dry sauna’ experience, that dilates the blood vessels, effectively increasing circulation throughout the body and helping boost circulation and recovery.
