Beat Your Best: Take On the Under Armour All Out Mile Challenge

Under Armour All Out Mile

For the 2nd consecutive year, Under Armour is hosting its popular Global UA All Out Mile campaign, where runners from across the world will lace up and train to record their Personal Best over the iconic 1 mile (1,6 km) distance.

Many athletes, runners or non-runners have at some point in their sport journey hit the track or pavement in the attempt of a mile personal record. From dedicated short to mid-distance runners, to team sport athletes, and even those lacing up for the first time, the mile is accessible to runners of all abilities, however, requires focused training and preparation to run a personal best.

In celebration of Global Running Day on 1 June 2022, Under Armour will be hosting a Grand Finale All Out Mile Event in 14 different countries including Cape Town, but runners are encouraged to participate wherever they are. The global All Out Mile 2022 event takes place from 21 April to 5 June with runners signing up online to the challenge to beat their best.

Benchmarking themselves against a global leader board, runners will not only get the chance to win globally, but sign up for local incentives as SA celebrates the best in our running fraternity. UA also offered runners a 30-day training programme to assist runners in their preparation during the month of May. Once June arrives, runners can take on the All Out Mile as many times as they like, races will be tracked by the UAMapMyRun app or an alternative run device linking to FitRankings.com (Garmin, Suunto, Apple).
