The 9th of August is Women’s Day and while you might be tempted to let it slip by like any other public holiday we say it’s the perfect excuse to celebrate the joys of being a strong, independent woman! Hosted by KFM’s Mamohau Seseane and set in Cape Town’s most beautiful, luxurious venue by the sea offers women an afternoon of inspiring talks by experts, aimed at speaking about everything that makes up an empowered modern woman. You’ll be treated to welcome drinks courtesy of Graham Beck, delicious canapés and a 2-course lunch menu created by Executive Chef Adrian Cook; a live music performance; gift bags; pamper stations; pop-up shops and awesome giveaways – what better way to celebrate being a woman?

Talk topics have been curated to engage, inform, educate and entertain. Expect to learn about health and fitness, positive thinking; personal style; finance and productivity. Guest speakers include Skin Renewal aesthetic specialist, Dr. Shahar Sattar, confidence coach, Abigail Kloppers, and health and fitness guru, Emma Jooste.

But that’s not all. This brilliant event will also aim to give back by helping to empower women in need with a portion of ticket proceeds being donated to an outreach program that provides menstrual cups to girls in rural townships.
