Banish Cellulite with Skin689® Anti-Cellulite Cream! [Review]
I have always been slightly skeptical of creams which claim to get rid of cellulite. The notion of massaging a cream onto a cellulite-riddled area and then, *poof!*, just like that it’s gone was something I struggled to find believable. So when I was first given the Skin689 Creme Anti-Cellulite lotion I was a little apprehensive, to say the least. But, I was also curious. Curious to see if my slightly flabby tushie would turn into J-Lo’s firm derriere in a matter of weeks. But, most importantly, curious to see if the hefty price tag was worth the splurge.
And so, 3-plus months and a trip to Bali later, here I am to report on my progress. I am excited to report that I have some good news in the derriere department! But these results do require you to use the cream religiously. This fabulous cream helped to firm the troubled areas I hated most and I found it particularly beneficial in reducing the appearance of cellulite.
The effectiveness of the product all comes down to one majestic ingredient – CHacoll. CHacoll contains elastic fiber formation and collagen promoting properties and the powerful concoction in this product helps to rejuvenate the skin and stimulate the lymphatic system. It is this stimulation of the lymphatic system that is key because it helps the body to eliminate toxins and in turn fight cellulite. CHacoll also aids in strengthening the collagen fiber network and stimulate the skin’s own collagen synthesis.
Apart from the intriguing CHacoll complex ingredient, Creme 689 also contains 4 other magical ingredients (namely Shea butter, jojoba oil, Vitamin C and E, and beeswax) which all help to moisturise the skin and assist with reducing the appearance of cellulite. The Shea butter and jojoba oil work to smooth the surface of the skin and deeply moisturising it while Vitamin C and E helps to support collagen formation and assist in toning as well as providing additional protection. Lastly, beeswax has wonderful calming and anti-inflammatory properties and is also lipid replenishing, which is especially fantastic during the winter months.
It is recommended that you use this product religiously for a period of 6 weeks or longer in order to see a difference. I definitely continue to apply the product during my daily routine. Although the price tag is on the extravagant side it is the only anti- cellulite cream I’ve used so far that has actually made a difference to the appearance of my cellulite.
