Ballroom Sensation, Burn The Floor Announces 2019 South African Tour

Wonderful news for ballroom dancing fans, the smash hit ballroom and dance theatre show, Burn the Floor, is returning to South Africa for an exciting new tour! Travelling across the country from August 2019, Burn the Floor: The Rebel Tour, is sure to delight long-time fans of the theatre extravaganza as well as newcomers discovering dance and Burn the Floor for the first time.
Burn the Floor is the dazzling show that revolutionised the image of ballroom dance across the world. Bound to leave audiences awestruck, this production promises incredible dance sequences and sizzling hot ballroom performances like you’ve never seen before, all on one stage. Affectionately know as ‘The Rebels of Ballroom’, the Burn the Floor crew are indeed rock stars of their art form.
You daren’t miss this show for the world! Think music along the lines of James Brown, Rag and Boneman, Aretha Franklin, Santana, Janis Joplin and Led Zeppelin in this breathtaking spectacle. Known for being the toughest dance show on a global scale, the international cast of passionate, skilled dance champions are handpicked for their rebellious spirit and pure talent. The cast includes SA Latin dance champion, Kylee Brown as well as the sultry sweet vocals of SA songstress, Lelo Ramasimong (who is also currently a finalist on The Voice SA).
Burn the Floor: The Rebel Tour will kick off at the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town from 8 – 17 August, 2019. Following this, fans in Jozi and Durbs will be in for a treat with the production running from 22 August to 8 September, 2019 at the Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg, and at Sibaya in Durban from 12 – 29 September, 2019.
Tickets for Cape Town shows can be purchased via webtickets or directly from the Baxter Theatre starting at R180 each. For the Johannesburg (starting at R280 each) and Durban (starting at R285 each) legs of the tour, tickets can be purchased via Computicket or Checkers and Shoprite retail stores countrywide.
