Visit De Krans Wine Cellar for Apricot and Peach Picking This Summer!

If you’re looking for something fun and different to do in Cape Town this month then pencil an afternoon of apricot or peach picking at De Krans Wine Cellar into your diary! Gather the family and visit the farm for a fun-filled and delicious afternoon picking perfectly ripe apricots from 21 November – 6 December 2015 and delicious yellow cling peaches from 16 – 27 December 2015
Situated in the quaint town of Calitzdorp along the renowned Route 62, De Krans Wine Cellar invites you to pick your own deliciously sweet, juicy Bulida apricots at the farm, every day between 8:00 and 16:00 at a cost of R5.50 per kg. Visitors are welcome to bring their own containers or buy containers at De Krans at a nominal fee. For more details on the peach picking, say Hi to De Krans on Facebook.
And, once you’re done picking, pay a visit to the new tasting room and deli to sample some De Krans wines and enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant or outside on the veranda. The deli offers a wide selection of local produce from the area and is open every Sunday from 22 November.
