Wear Your Birthstone: Black Betty Introduces Zodiac Range
Many people believe that their astrological footprint and birthstone can play an important role in guiding their daily lives. Wearing your birthstone or zodiac stone is believed to be a way to tap into your own personal power. On those days when you’re a little out of sorts, wearing your gemstone may serve as a reminder of your inner strength and offer the grounding that you need.
It’s this belief in birthstones that led jewellery designer Kristin Weixelbaumer from Black Betty to introduce a brand-new Zodiac range. “Everyone was born on a specific day and at a specific time. Astrology assigns a deeper meaning to this event by mapping out how the sun, moon and planets were aligned when you entered the world,” explains Weixelbaumer.
Weixelbaumer worked closely with Cape Town astrologer Nicole L Smith to create the range, and with each piece that Black Betty sells, the recipient will receive a personal reading by Smith for the year to come. “This collection is something special and personal. We wanted to give each piece a special send-off to its new owner,” says Weixelbaumer. We wanted our customers to understand the full power and story of wearing one’s Zodiac.
