I adore this shade from cruelty-free brand Wet ‘n Wild. “Smokin’ Hot Pink” is a name befitting to this lipstick, as it truly is a vibrant, hot pink. The formula is extremely pigmented and easy to apply without being streaky or patchy. One swipe is all you need to get a creamy matte finish, however, this product layers well and is buildable if you are after even more glorious hot pink coverage. Additionally, it truly has mega-lasting power and I found myself only re-applying once or twice throughout the day.

NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in “Sandstorm”
I love this colour for an everyday look, as it does not budge. I would describe it as a medium pinkish-brown with a subtle cool undertone. The formula is waterproof, and it really feels like suede when applied, which is a luxurious sensation on the lips. It dries quickly so it is best to work fast if applying layers of the product, but it is buildable and easy to apply if you’re in a rush.

Black Opal Colour Splurge Risqué Matte Lipstick in “Misfit”
This lipstick is the perfect medium nude-brown shade for women of colour. The formula glides on smoothly with a velvet finish and feels extremely hydrating on the lips – perfect for dry winter skin. Despite the more sheer coverage at first, the product is buildable to a fuller coverage, pigmented brown that compliments darker skin beautifully. Soft Matte Lip Creams are by far my favourite liquid lipstick formulas to wear for high durability, pigmentation and ease of application. With a literal soft matte finish, this shade applies beautifully onto the lips yielding a bright pink-plum colour. Despite having a matte finish, it does not feel drying but is silky to the touch. It stays put throughout the day without smudging or losing much colour, which is fabulous for women on the go.

NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in “Vintage/Rétro”
This is definitely my personal favourite. I have never seen a shade so unique and so complimentary to all skin tones! It can be described as a deep pinkish-plum with brown undertones and I love the staying power of this lipstick in particular from the Liquid Suede Cream range. It applies incredibly smoothly, is pigmented and doesn’t feel heavy on the lips, however, I would recommend pairing this with a lip liner of some sort as it can feather throughout the day.
