3 Hand Creams We Love! [Review]

After years of working as an Editor and writer for…
If there’s one thing you should be using to look younger it is hand cream. No seriously, your hands are one of the biggest snitches when it comes to revealing your age so it’s about time you started a daily hand cream routine and STAT! I love nothing more than giving my hands a quick boost with a fabulous cream and as a result have fallen in and out of love with a lot of hand creams over the years. So, I thought why not share my personal favourites with you. Here are 3 hand creams I am simply smitten with!
L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream
This little guy from L’Occitane is a treat of note. It’s non-greasy and absorbs super quickly leaving your hands baby soft and smelling great. If you have super dry hands then this is the hand cream of your dreams!
Worth the splurge? At R145 for a 30ml tube it’s not exactly cheap but you only use the tiniest amount when applying the cream so it will last for ages. Available online from Woolworths.
Elizabeth Arden 8-Hour Hand Cream
We all know and love Elizabeth Arden’s famous Eight Hour Cream (if you don’t know get to know it because it’s pretty much liquid gold!) but did you know there was a hand cream version of the legendary stuff? This magic hand cream has a super creamy texture and soaks in fast. It works wonders for dry and tired hands and you can still feel it working on your hands after washing with soapy water, minimising the amount of times you need to reapply throughout the day – true story!
Worth the splurge? At R285 for 75 ml this little gem is definitely worth every penny! Try it once and you won’t go back. Find it online at Woolworths.
Eucerin Dry Skin Intensive Hand Cream 5% Urea
A real treat for those who suffer with skin conditions and highly reactive skin, this budget-friendly is a winner in my books. The formula is fragrance and colourant free, so there’s not much chance of the product irritating your skin. The luxurious cream contains natural moisturising ingredient urea to keep hands feeling soft and moisturised all day long.
Worth the splurge? At R119.95 for a large tube this hand cream is a great buy and will last you ages and ages. Keep it in your hand bag for a quick treat when you need it most. Find it online at Clicks now.
