Women’s football is a sport that has been enjoying a huge amount of growth around the world. While the sport has largely been considered male-orientated and has been dominated by men, boundaries have started to be broken as more interest in the game has been received.
The sport has started to enjoy a spotlight in football-mad countries like England and Spain, while the game in America continues to grow as new expansion teams continue to be created and added to the NWSL.
