10 Amazing Beauty Products You Need to Try in May!
It’s time for another WomenStuff beauty round up! Every month out beauty desk is inundated with new beauty products to try – from new skincare product releases to fabulous new makeup items and more, there’s always something exciting to try. So, I decided to put them all together for you so you get all the reviews and news on the latest must-try beauty products. Most of the products featured here have been personally reviewed by me, so you know they’re aces but I’ve also included some interesting finds that I can’t wait to try. LCN Extreme WOW! Effect Volume Mascara
A lot of mascaras claim to give you that ‘false lash’ effect but few really delivery on their promise. The new LCN Extreme WOW! Effect Volume Mascara does what it says on the box and gives you super ‘wow’ lashes with an extreme volume effect. I was blown away when I used this LCN mascara for the first time – it gives you amazing length and volume and is a definite must try. The unique applicator brush with double barrel-style bristles allows you to coat even the most out-of-reach lashes for a look that is hard to achieve with any other mascara.

Dr Dermal texture correction pads
If you’ve got dehydrated, flaky skin then these little pads of “wow!” are just what the doctor ordered. Dr Dermal Texture Correction Pads are great for gentle peeling and will help to give you a more even complexion over time. The hyaluronic acid infused pads can be used after cleansing at night (AHA products can leave your skin sensitive to sunlight) and are a great way to exfoliate the skin once or twice a week. My skin is super sensitive and I often suffer with redness, flaky skin and dehydration during winter but the Dr Dermal Texture Correction Pads sorted that problem right out!

Crabtree & Evelyn Polish Winter Colour Range
I absolutely adore the Crabtree & Evelyn polish range and was super excited to see that they have launched three new beautiful colours just in time for winter. This fast-drying nail lacquer glides on smoothly for a stunning, glossy finish and offers long-lasting wear. The new colours include Black Cherry, Blueberry, and Mica. If you haven’t heard, Cherry is the new black and the Crabtree Black Cherry polish is beyond stunning! I also loved the new deep blue Blueberry colour which has a bit of a sapphire shimmer to it. And, if grey is your colour then you can’t go wrong with the Crabtree Mica, it’s got a beautiful silvery shimmer to it and matches perfectly with any outfit!

LCN Teint Perfecting Loose Powder
If you hate that oily shine effect on your skin after you apply your foundation then you’re going love this micro-fine loose powder from LCN. The powder is perfect for setting makeup, reducing shine, and creating a must-have matte look. I love it because it leaves your skin feeling soft and looking flawless. The sheer texture sets gently on the skin without clogging pores and ensures an even complexion. Shadows, bumps and small wrinkles are spirited away

Palladio Butter Me Up Sheer Balm
This luscious, buttery lip balm is the perfect winter companion. Wear it as a wash of sheer colour to give your lips a bit of oomph and mositure or layer it to create more colour depth and make your lips pop. Elegant Touch 3 Minute Manicure – Deep Red
Let’s face it, heading to the salon to get a manicure or even doing it yourself at home can be a serious pain! I hardly have time to wash my hair, let alone find time to head to a salon for an hour-long manicure. Which is why I love this 3-minute manicure from Elegant Touch! Elegant Touch offers a wide range of colours and designs but the new deep red garnet is a must-try for winter. The nails are super easy to apply and are pre-glued for you so all you have to do is stick and go. I used a set to rescue my nails from a disgraceful gel mani that was long past its due date and loved that in three minutes I could have beautiful looking nails without having to stress about fitting a gel soak-off in before a big event I was attending that night.

LCN Longwear Eyeshadow
This smokey eye pallet from LCN is a must-have if you’re into the dark and sultry look. The Longwear Eyeshadow set in Smokey has three colours namely white, light grey, and dark navy and offers everything you need to create a smokey eye without having to use nothing but black and grey. The pigment is super-strong and long-lasting and the Vitamin E enriched shadows are silky soft!
